Welcome to week 2 of the RackMC Open Beta. Over the past week, we have had 30+ unique players join and over 200 hours of total playtime on the network! We just wanted to say thank you for dealing with all the bugs and being patient with us. Now that a big chunk of issues have been fixed, it should be mostly smooth sailing from here.
Here is a list of all the bug fixes and changes that have been made since our last post on Friday. If you find any more issues, make sure to open a ticket in our discord.
Major Changes
Lands
- Nation creation cost has increased from $100 to $1000
- Chunk claiming cost remains $100, but each additional chunk will only cost $10 more instead of $25
- Added a 5th vote site
- Updated the vote crate reward pool
- You can now show off items by typing
[i]in chat - Land upkeep has increased from $5 per chunk to $10 per chunk
- Jobs payouts have been reduced by half to promote more mining and trading between players
Known Issues
Lands
/rtpdoes not work (use/wildfor now)- The MCMMO Mining skill levels up too quickly
- The smelting part of the crafter job does not pay out for an auto smelter
- The fortune enchanment on a pickaxe conflicts with MCMMO double drops
Bug Fixes
Lands
- Monsters that wander into claimed land with spawning disabled will despawn
/wildhas changed from 500:2500 blocks to 1000:5000 blocks- Vote message formatting has been adjusted
Creative
- You can now spawn up to 20 mobs in your plot
